FIRE RETARDANTS 3x HIGHER IN TODDLERS THAN MOMS
Tests conducted for EWG on flame retardant chemicals resulted in findings that these chemicals were three times higher in toddlers then their mothers.
Concerns are being raised on this issue as it is harder for smaller bodies to metabolize the chemicals then it would be for an adult. Plus they are developing bodies that are having to then deal with increased toxins in their growing bodies. The issues of these chemicals, such as Deca, is that they build up in the blood and have shown in labratory tests to cause issues of hyperactivity.
