H1N1

We have quickly raced into fall and onto another flu season. Having little children in a time of H1N1 concerns does not sit well with me. With H1N1 around every corner, I wonder how bad this flu will get and how to ensure my little girls stay healthy.

I have been seeing the Naturopath to ensure my girls are on vitamins, minerals and homeopathic treatments to keep their immunity strong. They have been taking Moducare and Engystol ... as well, I have continued their use of probiotics, Vit C and omega 3s. So far, I have had some pretty amazing results but since this is just the beginning I want to wait to see how things go and then share some of these results with you. Yet for now, I would recommend consulting with a Naturopath to get your children on these supplements.

Below is some of the latest information on H1N1 from CNN (young adults seem to be the most at risk, perhaps b/c the elderly have some kind of built up immunity and severe respiratory symptoms seems to result in hospitalization after four days of having flu symptoms):  www.cnn.com/2009/HEALTH/10/13/h1n1.flu.young.adults/
